2025 RAA/Juried Exhibition

Artists’ Eligibility: Open to all members of Random Acts of Artists Media Specifications:
All artworks must be original and property of the artist.
All artworks must have been created within the past three years.
Two gallery staff must be able to handle and install the submitted artwork:
o 3D works maximum base width 15 inches and weighs no more than 50 pounds. *Exceptions for floor pieces. Please specify.
o 2D works maximum width 24 plus the frame and weighs no more than 75 pounds.
How to enter:
You may submit two artworks for consideration no later than November 29th 2024. You may include an additional two detailed images of each work only if they assist the juror in determining surface or small details. Send imagery in the following ways:

Artwork images 300dpi, no larger than 2MB
File name formatted this way:
o YEAR_TITLE_MEDIUM_DIMENSIONS_LASTNAME.jpg
o TITLE_DETAIL_LASTNAME.jpg
If the entry is submitted as a series, each number must be labeled accordingly and must
include a diagram of the layout. (ex. 1a, 1b, 1c, in the order in which it is to be
presented.)
If more than one entry is listed as “Untitled”, please make distinctions using numbers.
Notification of acceptance: Via email by December 6th
Awards: 5 Merit Awards at $100.00
Requirements for artists upon acceptance:
• Artwork must be ready for display:
o 2Dworkreadyforhangingwithwire,sawtoothhangers,orD-rings.Plexiglasis
required for framed work. Exceptions only for media such as textiles and installation pieces and oil/acrylic paintings on canvas.

All accepted work must remain on display for the full duration of the exhibition from Jan 6- Jan 30 opening reception Thursday Jan 9th 5:30-7:00
The accepted work must not differ significantly from images initially submitted.
Artwork should arrive at HopeCAT by December 30th this is for shipped work and
hand delivered work
Insured shipping to and from HopeCAT is the responsibility of the artist. Please be conscious of artwork package girth and standard shipping restrictions.

Sale of Objects: Please indicate on the online form if the piece(s) are not for sale. Use NFS in place of the price.
The Museum will be in contact with the artist if there is an interest in purchasing their work. A commission of 30% will be taken for each work sold.
