ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Non-profit group, Community Artworks, will be Community Artwork will be creating a 2018 local artist calendar as a companion to the exhibit this year. If you would agree to have your submitted piece considered for the calendar, check permission to publish your work. Pieces selected for the calendar do not have to be selected for the exhibit by our juror. All entries will be considered.
$650 or more in prize money for juror selected pieces.

RULES – ACCEPTED WORKS FOR 2018 EXHIBIT:
Exhibition shall include only original works of art created by submitting artist. 2 dimensional works must be properly wired – ready to hang, no sawtooth hangers please.
Please use labels to identify your accepted work. If not for sale, label NFS
Labels must agree with completed entry submission. Attach to bottom of 3-dimensional pieces, and to the back, upper left, for 2-dimensional pieces. Please include:

LIABILITY:
Every precaution will be taken tin handling and protecting entries, but the Art Outreach Gallery is not responsible for loss or damage however caused. Insurance coverage and costs are the artist’s responsibility. Artist gives the AOG permission to use the artwork online in a virtual gallery as well as the physical space of the exhibit. Submission of artwork and artist’s signature will be construed as acceptance of all terms and conditions.
32 Artists, 32 Tribute Paintings, One Mural9/11…Never Forget” is a mural composed of 32 canvases for a finished piece 6′ high X 12′ wide. Thirty-two artists were selected to participate, each painting an awe inspiring tribute or memory of that fateful day.
Community Artworks has held 3 Regional Art Exhibitions, rewarding local artists with $2000 in prize money.
80 ARTISTS, 70 PERSONAL PAINTINGS, ONE MURAL
The Mona Lisa Mosaic Masterpiece is a mural composed of 70 canvases for a finished piece 14′ high X 20′ wide. Seventy artists were selected to participate, each painting an awe inspiring tribute to one of the most famous pieces of art ever created.
Community Artworks 2018 Regional Art Exhibition
Community Artwork’s “Mosaic Masterpiece Mural” created by 80 local artists in 2009 is now permanently installed at the Eastwood Mall in the Target concourse. The opening coincided with the Community Artwork Annual Exhibit at Art Outreach Gallery on October 6, 2017.
Entries were accepted Community Artworks Regional Art Exhibit, from artists within a 50 mile radius of the exhibit, in Niles, OH. The annual juried art exhibit is currently being held at Art Outreach Gallery/Eastwood Mall, Nov. 12. Juror this year was Executive Director of the Hoyt Institute: Kimberly Koller-Jones $730 in prize money was awarded.
